November Faves

November Faves: Quimica Alemena Esmalte Endurecedor Para Uñas Nail Hardener, Hot Pink Silicone Brush Cleansing mat, Too Faced Glitter Pop Peel Off Eyeliner, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty Killawatt Highlighter in Trophy WifeI purchased these products at the end of October and used them throughout the month of November. They’re so good that I’m wondering how I’ve lived my life without them.

Brush Cleansing Mat

Confession: I’ve had my eye on the Sigma version of this mat for a while but it was a whole $32.00. I wanted to buy something and receive free shipping so I discovered this dupe on accident. It’s pretty much the exact same as the Sigma brush mat but with different patterns. This version is only $7.00.Hot Pink Silicone Brush Cleansing Mat

I have about 20 brushes. Washing my brushes by hand was laborious, annoying and gruesome on my skin (all the cocoa butter in the world wouldn’t cure my dry hands). Now, it takes 15 minutes–at most. I simply squirt Dawn dish detergent all over my mat and swish my brushes throughout the patterns on the mat.

I usually play it safe with my makeup and keep it natural with a bit of flair. These products allow me to turn it up a little.

Too Faced Glitter Pop Eyeliner Makeup Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty Killawatt Highlighter in Trophy WifeThe Too Faced Glitter Pop Peel Off Eyeliner is specially formulated to stay put until you’re ready to take it off. Simply apply 2-3 layers of the product to build up the glitter. I appreciate the precision of the eyeliner brush because my eyes are very small. If you’ve ever worn glitter before, then you know it’s an absolute nightmare to remove. This formula allows you to have the dramatic look of glitter eyeliner without the drama. I can’t wait to invest in other colors!

Everyone and their mother has been raving about Fenty Beauty in its entirety. Because it’s a higher end brand, I wanted to invest in products from the line that I could not possibly purchase as a lower price point.

The Killawatt Highlighter in the shade Trophy Wife is unlike anything I’ve ever seen or used before. It applies like a stroke of glitter. When you first apply, it looks like waaaaay too much.

I also dust a bit on my clavicle bone if I’m wearing my shoulders out.

I have never used a fan brush to apply highlighter. I apply with my Elf Blush Brush; it does the job and it’s only $3.00.

Can I pronounce this product? No. Do I swear by it? Yes.

I prefer to wear my natural nails in an almond shape but I couldn’t maintain the look I was going for because my nails kept chipping and splitting. I tried OPI Nail Envy, Sally Hansen and many others before discovering this product shopping at my local nail supply. They sold it at Walgreens for a bit; I’m not sure if they still carry this in store. You can get yours via Amazon here. This product keeps your nails very strong and healthy. It’s the only way I’m able to retain length. Trust me, if you try it, you’ll never use another nail hardener again.
