Museum of Ice Cream: Miami

The Museum of Ice Cream is a series of confectionary castles in the hottest cities devoted to creative discovery, delectable ice cream, and selfies. It’s every millennial’s wet dream.

The Miami Exhibit is 4 levels of fun with 9 unique installations. This museum (which actually isn’t a museum at all, but that’s neither here nor there) allows patrons to touch and interact with the pieces. The museum is all about creatively capturing your good time.

It wouldn’t be the museum of ice cream without ICE CREAM! There are a few treats available in select rooms. Everything I tasted was absolutely marvelous and beautifully presented.

Tickets sell out quickly so if you’re lucky enough to grab one, it’s best to snag during the day time to ensure you capture your experience with the best lighting possible. It’s not awful at night since there is plenty of lighting, but nighttime camera exposure doesn’t fully capture the beauty and vibrance of the murals.

If this is the closest thing I’ll get to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, I’m totally okay with that and can die happy. I had a blast running amok snapping pictures, creating gifs, and over-indulging on ice cream.

Mood for 2018.

I love that they only sell a batch of tickets per time slot; it keeps the flow from being overwhelming with people. I could see myself easily getting frustrated and leaving if it were more people because it would be impossible to get a good picture and thus defeating the purpose. All visitors were polite about not interrupting each other’s money shot. Strangers swapped cameras and took photos of one another. Everything was pink, and everyone was happy.

With Love,

Dom

Haha! It’s funny that you mention my highlight (thanks, btw)! I have recently become obsessed with highlighters. I never leave the house wearing less than 3 (when I’m on full glam mode).

It really is a photoshoot dream! I didn’t anticipate it being as much fun as it was. I literally left giggling! If you’re in a major city, definitely see if there’s one coming your way soon!

I got tickets to the ice cream museum next month! These pictures are great, I can’t wait to go and be a big kid in there. Your photos are so cute, what was your favorite part of the museum and is it true that there is unlimited ice cream?

Oh shit! You’re going to have a blast! I don’t think I have a favorite part because I literally enjoyed every room just that much. There was music blaring, every room was brightly colored, everyone in attendance was also happy and willing to take pictures of each other, and FREE ICE CREAM. I’m not sure if it’s *unlimited* ice cream because I didn’t go back for seconds (although I kinda regret not doing so; the ice cream conveyor belt had some DELICIOUS offerings) but you do receive at least 4 servings of ice cream! I can’t wait to see your blog post recap! 💕

Ohhhh I can’t wait!!! People have been telling me it’s like a girl’s dream. I might have to stop myself from eating too much ice cream or probably be too excited to even eat more than one serving! Thank for the photos, now I’m pumped to go. I will keep you updated ❤
