Parfait means, “Perfect,” in French and, “Ohmigosh this tastes amazing,” in English. The word parfait is used to describe a layered dessert of sorts. This is one of my favorite, delicious, albeit healthy treats!
Ingredients:
A dish or glass deep enough to add at least 1 complete layer
A spoon
Dannon Light & Fit Vanilla Yogurt (Do not use the Greek version of this yogurt; it’s too thick and does not blend well with the ingredients)
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup freshly chopped strawberries
Bear Naked Vanilla Almond Granola (or a granola of your choice. I personally like the texture and sweetness of this granola.)
Step One: Wash your fruits. Chop your strawberries into small square chunks.
Step Two: Place a small layer of granola into your dish.
Step Three: Add a dollop of yogurt. It should be a small layer to cover the granola. You don’t need to put too much because there will be additional layers. This is a rich, very filling dessert/snack.
Step Four: Take a dash of blueberries and place evenly across yogurt. Do the same for the strawberries.
Step Five: Repeat steps Two through Four.
Note: For this tutorial, my bowl is very wide so I just did one layer. Again, the recipe is filling, so layer at your own discretion.
A yogurt parfait sounds incredibly fancy. “Would you like a parfait, daaaaaahling?” Brunch hostess? Serve in petit four glasses! (Don’t forget the champagne! Haha!)
It’s also a great midday snack and travels well for work. The longer it sits, the sweeter it gets because the flavors merge (although you’ll want to consume the same day of preparation). It can definitely be enjoyed immediately as well.
If you try this recipe, let me know what you think!

I love all the photos, you are so pretty, Dom!
I wish I could eat that parfait but I can’t have dairy. 😭

Thank you! Aww, Hunida! I just tried Silk’s non-dairy yogurt for the first time and I must say; it wasn’t bad. It has the consistency needed for this recipe and the fruit should mellow out the bitterness. You can also make your parfaits out of cake, haha! 💕
