Spring Has Sprung!

Beyonce style pop art photo of black beauty bloggerHappy First Day of Spring! Springtime in Miami is absolutely magical. When the weather is perfect and the flowers start blooming, I know it’s officially pedicure and bikini season.

This is such a special post because it’s… drumroll, please… MY FIRST BLOG COLLAB!

‘Tis the season for all things lush and tropical and who better to introduce to you all to than Mira Belle?

Lifestyle blogger MiraBelle of www.HelloMiraBelle.com

Shakeema “MiraBelle” La Foucade is a New Yorker with Trinidadian native roots, an aspiring author, and almost-grad of Queens College. What I love most about her blog is her love for skincare and healthy, fresh, appetizing meals. I had to follow her blog after she posted this amazing Black Bean Salsa Recipe! I’ve never met anyone as obsessed with green foliage, either.

Here is my homage to Spring. Bring on the color, bring on the sun!

Thank you, Hunida! It’s literally my favorite maxi dress! It was the first piece I kept for myself when I had my clothing store. 💔 I wear it every chance I get (even if it means only to the grocery store, lol)!! Thanks for reading! 💕

I had to close it unfortunately because I ran out of operational capital (sad face). I plan to write a series about the whole process—how to start it up, best practices, and things I wish I did differently and why. Running my own clothing store was probably the most fun and educational experience of my life!
