Listen, I am a fancy girl on a budget. I don’t have unlimited money nor storage to buy a ton of makeup just because. If I need to buy high end, I buy high end. If I can get the same quality for less at the drugstore, then I’ll pick up some eyeshadow along with my NyQuil, ya dig?
When I was learning how to apply makeup, There were so many damn brushes, sponges, and products recommended that it took me quite a while to get my collection together for my full face application. I’ve recently filmed my Ultimate Highlight and Contour Routine for you all. Check out the tutorial on my IGTV!
For those of you that are new to makeup, below is my arsenal of go-to brushes!
Eyes
Morphe 218 Fluffy Eyeshadow Brush, $3
Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow Brush, $36
Wet N’Wild Synthetic Flat Brush, $1
Bobbi Brown Concealer Brush, $36
Bobbi Brown Smokey Eyeliner Brush, $36
Complexion
Beauty Blender, $20
Bobbi Brown Foundation Brush $47
Bobbi Brown Face Blender Brush $57
MAC Stippling Brush, $42
Morphe Kabuki Brush: I’m having trouble finding this brush for sale online! I’ve e-mailed Morphe to see if it’s a stock issue or if the brush has been outright discontinued. I’ll keep you posted! In the meantime, here’s an affordable dupe.
To keep your brushes clean, I highly recommend this brush cleaning mat. I can cleanse all of my brushes in a matter of minutes! Not only does it cut down my wash time, it leaves my brushes truly clean–all the way through!

I am SO sorry that this video is so long. I wanted to make sure I explained in full detail the application process… but I think I got a little carried away. Nevertheless, if you got through it, what did you think?! Drop me a line below–I love your feedback!
Truly Yours,
I started posting more things. Are we friends on Instagram?

There is literally a damn brush for everything and my eyes are so tiny… I can’t imagine I need 8 different shader/crease eyeshadow brushes. 🙄 My brush collection is much bigger than this so hopefully this guide saves you a few $100! 😂😂 Thanks for reading Logan!

I am honestly obsessed with stippling brushes, I find they give me the most even coverage! I’ve also been using a dupe beauty blender recently and I find that works well too 🙂 Great post girly – I really enjoyed your video, your accent is THE COOLEST THING EVER xx
